Duplex condominiums are fast becoming a common offering in Malaysia, and over time, more and more fascinating condominium renovations are surfacing. Some time back we had a look at a condominium in Sri Hartamas that had its interior designed by SQFT Space Design Management Sdn Bhd, with eye jabbing results which you can read and view by clicking here.
So it was a real pleasant surprise to see the excellent job they did with this duplex condominium in Ampang Hilir, Kuala Lumpur. Following what seems to be a modern Malaysian interpretation of modern home design. Even so the results are no less beautifully crafted. Now I may not agree with every single detail used in the interior design but this was done to suit the tastes of the owners and not myself. But for some funny reason, I find myself fascinated with the kitchen design implemented in this condominium unit just like I was with the Sri Hartamas unit featured. Strange… very strange indeed.
The manicured terrace garden was something i found to be a very nice touch as well with the grass which I’m thinking may be artificial. When you live in a condominium high up, it’s always nice to have some greenery around. The textured wall was an equally nice touch to add to the sense of calm permeating from this space.
And lastly, the toilet in the master bedroom looks absolutely stunning, the way it has been laid out was what added to the mystery of this area. the free standing sink counter and hanging vanity mirror was a very nice touch which hid the bathtub area very well in my opinion. Would have liked this space more than the kitchen if they’d shown the bath and toilet areas.
The interior design SQFT Design did for this condominium came off looking a great deal better than the previous feature and its great to see good work coming out from companies we thought could do no better. With this I leave the SQFT team with one question should they ever read this site; why choose that specific dining chairs with the odd looking designs?
