I’ve come to the conclusion that being able to own a grounded home with spectacular views is within the capabilities of only the reach. I am not taking high-rise living into consideration as more and more people find themselves living in apartments, condominiums and such. It has become increasingly rare to find a smaller landed home with such stunning views even in Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding suburbs of Petaling Jaya and such in Malaysia.
The Hopen Place home featured here appears to be more than just a home, it look like a mix between a resort and an upmarket night club with all its expensive trimmings. Located in Hollywood Hills, California; it’s no wonder that this home has been created to be functional beyond a private residence. Designed by Whipple Russell Architects, this home has taken every advantage of the beautiful city skyline that it overlooks. With wide open terrace space overlooking an infinity styled swimming pool and large living room spaces, this home is an excellent place for a cocktail party.
One of the main features of this home which strikes my fancy is how the majority of living spaces in this home look out to the city skyline. Another being the main focal point of the home which seems to revolve around the infinity swimming pool; with open spaces and an shaded outdoor seating area, its the perfect place to unwind or just sit out while enjoying a glass of bubbly while soaking in the scenery.
An with a fancy home such as this who would want to leave and go to work and there in lies the paradox, while homes with stunning views such as this are outside the means of most of us but those who can afford these homes are generally too busy to really enjoy the beauty that they have just outside their doorstep. So enough talk for now and lets soak in the beauty of this home.
