Scenic views from an equally beautiful Camps Bay Villa

Having your home in a great location is always a positive on the potential value of your home, which brings me to my question, how much exactly do you think this beautiful villa in Camps Bay cost?

Considered an affluent suburb of Cape Town, Camps Bay is one of the most renowned destinations for holidays with its white sandy beaches, breezy palm trees and trendy nightlife in South Africa. With its key location in a suburb such as this, I seriously do not doubt that this villa does not come cheap. This home of sorts is split into 2 units, a standard 2-bedder and the penthouse which also has 2 bedrooms. The home is rented out to vacationers who come to Camps Bay; and after you’ve had a peak at the pictures of this place, you’d want to go there for a holiday as well… trust me!

The exterior facade of the house is nothing really to shout about but its the interior that really catches my attention. The materials used and how the different finishes used are married together in this home presents a very clean and beautifully detailed interior design. From marble flooring, tempered glass railed staircases, mosaic tiled bathrooms, chandeliers and strategically positioned art pieces, its not very hard to see how all the various elements used come together in this home and create a visually stunning environment.

I love it how this home has large and spacious sitting areas both indoors and outdoors, as a holiday getaway or even our own personal home for that matter, large spaces for us to chill out and relax away the stresses from a long day at the office. The one space in this home that i love the most has to definitely be the living room with the full length glass windows and doors of the sea and the hill slopes of Camp Bay. Truly, sometimes the most beautiful and awe inspiring features of any home can be one that comes free… well disregarding the additional costs for the tempered glass, of course.

The kitchen spaces for both units here have kept to an equally neat and clean design, with the colour white being the unifying colour of the two very differently laid out kitchens. The modern designs of the kitchen and the use of an island helps create not just work space to prepare food but also as a bar counter for those informal “I just want to grab a quick bite” occasions.

The larger of the 2 kitchens however utilizes its space in a slightly different manner. A peninsular table is used away from the kitchen island which houses the cooking stove and ventilation hood and placed in a nook of the kitchen but still providing ample space for people to move around. This combination while not exactly suitable for Asian style cooking (unless you’re a bachelor) however does give a point to ponder on, the lay-out helps manage the movement of people within the kitchen area away from the focal point at the cooking area which is a layout i find rather fascinating.

The bedroom and bathroom spaces are equally beautifully remodeled with the bathroom area using a fascinating mosaic tiled finish as a feature wall within the bathroom. Hhhhhmmm… looks definitely good within the space and a may just want to try it out the next time I ever renovate my home.

This is definitely one home that makes a wonderful holiday getaway and since its available for holidaymakers….. i really wonder exactly how much a week would cost to rent this place. A holiday beckons, maybe.
